Satisfied Cravings

Nemaia Faletogo

Have you ever had a craving? How did you satisfy that craving? What we’re you craving? About a month ago I had this deep impression on my heart that the Lord had asked me to do something. I didn’t know exactly what it was that he was asking me to do but I was interested in finding out. I prayed and the impression became clearer that I needed to have some kind of Christ centered meetings.

After 2 weeks of not making any moves towards meetings, the impressions were getting heavier on my heart. I shared this impression with Pastor Nemaia Faletogo one after noon as we were distributing food one day and his response was “I got you”. We looked at calendars, set dates, times and we were on and ready to start our revival series “Rise Up, Beyond Social Justice” in 2 weeks on Sunday, September 13-19.

With our series well in planning, the impression subsided to a still peace in my heart. This is what that impression was all about. This last week as the series began, the cravings of my heart and the desires of my inner most being was being satisfied. Sunday kicked off and there was a sense of peace and joy in my heart. As the week progressed and the meetings were being held and Pastor Nemaia shared the Gospel with us, my heart was slowly being filled. All week God poured out His spirit and souls were being convicted as they surrendered their lives to the Lord.

In our closing evening together we opened with prayer and some live music. Pastor Rome Ulia shared the importance of baptism and what this commit means. Pastor Angel Ogando started our baptisms with 2 couples from the Auburn Academy Church and Pastor Nemaia followed up with 6 baptisms from the meetings.

Following the baptisms Pastor Nemaia shared his closing message and made another appeal for baptism and 2 more souls were buried into the watery grave of baptism. The Lord blessed and 12 souls were added to the Kingdom that evening and more will follow.

As we closed that evening, my heart had been filled and the cravings of my soul was satisfied With so much joy and gratitude for what we had just witnessed we are asking God to do it again. This week was such a beautiful reflection of God’s will for us that with the Lords blessings we have plans to do it all over again January 10-16, 2021. So, if you gotta craving, come join us!
